Mine

Your smile is like a sunset. All the colors of dusk seem brighter when you're happy. The purples, blues, and reds glow radiant and I start to remember why this is my favorite time of day. I see the shine of the light through your eyes. I feel the warmth of its rays through your arms. If I could, I would trade you for the sunset itself for you are far more extravagant, but then again, I might not, because that would mean I would have to share you with the rest of the world. Could I be so selfish? Would the world forgive me if I kept you for myself? I look at you and realize I don't care. The world can just go screw itself because I could never let you go. They can keep their sun and its sunset. I have my own and it is far greater than I deserve but it's mine and it's here. You're mine. You're here. Like my own light you are my sunset, and that is all the light I need.
